In the evening I hung with some old friends!

After Burg's shower I went and spent some girly time with some good friends from high school. It took all of us like 2-1/2 months to plan one dinner together. We are all so busy with kids, family, careers, wedding planning, baby planning it's ridiculous. We all had to bring our planners so we can plan for next time. But we made it out to Ciao Bella's. Great food. Great fun. Great times! Enjoy the pictures!
Stacia, me, Kim, and Tiffany
There's our Kim "the lawyer", and Tiffany our little "bride-to-be"
Stacia "the mom of a cute and fun loving toddler" and me...you know me.
Anyway, these gals I have known for like over 10 years. Kim since elementry, Tiff since middle school and Stacia since high school. We lost contact for while, but not kidding thanks to myspace we are found again!! Whoo hoo!! See you all in June for our next outing!!

We showered Burg with love and gifts!

Saturday, my mom, Jennifer and I gave Burgundy a wedding shower. It turned out really nice (thanks to my mom and my aunt's decorationg gene). I met some of Burgundy's family which were all so nice and friendly. I know Burg liked it and I really enjoyed it as well. Here are some photos of the day!

Lemon, no ice was I guess you can say the "theme"
Ha ha ha...the "pantie" tree! I hate the word pantie...it's underware!

Lights Camera Action...Wiggles!

Yes that's right folks. John, Tyler and I went to see them today. We were on their website last night looking around and I asked John when they were in town. They were in town this weekend!! We actually got tickets. You think we would have gotten crappy seats, but they were great as you can see from the pictures below. I'm not gonna lie to you. It was a FUN show. They laugh and joke on stage. They interact with everyone. They smile and wave to the kiddos (inlcuding our little tyler). I had a blast!! Oh so did Tyler. And don't let John fool you. He was grinning and smiling during the 1-1/2 hour show. It was kinda sad when it was over. I was kinda star struck seeing the wiggles. Even the back up dancers on the tv show were there. I guess they are all regulars. We enjoyed are day. Here's some pics...

this is my favorite wiggle, Anthony. He looks kinda weird with the red eye, but he's the funniest!

Here's the gang making fruit salad...yummy yummy!

There's the newbie Sam swimming like a fish (he took the place of Greg). He had to retire early because of a heart condition. They showed a video before the show with Greg saying goodbye and saying he could no longer wiggle...it was kinda sad.
There are all the wiggles's including captain feathersword saying goodbye.
There's the famous "toot toot chugga chugga" big red car!
Tyler and me totally having a ball!
There he is digging like Wags the dog.
He was trying to get John's attention on the wiggles. The most important thing.

ATTENTION: Flying fences reported on the 60 East on Friday morning.

I'm done. Done with driving that is. I'm sick of being in accidents. I guess I never really knocked on real wood when I always bragged about not being in any accidents. Friday I was minding my own business on the 60 freeway and some guard rail gate comes flying at me (after of course it flew out from underneath the big rig in front of me) and BAM! hit me straight in the front of my car. First thing out of my mouth was, "Darn it!" No lie. Never had a potty mouth on me. Than it was the tears. Not sad tears. Mad tears. I guess Tyler thought I was laughing and he was busting a gut in his carseat. Whatever works for him! I'm just so sick of this happening to me. I mean really, 4th time. First one was 12/05, second was 3/06, third was 9/06 now fourth one. Some of you might be thinking I don't pay attention, but they weren't my fault. I'm just a magnet for accidents I guess. The last 2 were 6 months apart. Does this mean I will be in one in 9/07? I hope not, that's when my baby will be here. Why am I worrying over this? This is stupid.

I am lucky though that it didn't hit my windshield, because that's where it was headed. And that for sure would have sent me to the ER! I can say it was the wind that made it go to the front instead of my windshield, but it was God. He's in control always. I'm not saying God let this gate thing hit me. He allowed it to happen. But he also protected me and I'm very thankful for him for that.

I need to wake up and smell the coffee. Is he trying to get my attention? This went through my head back in September when somebody rear ended me at a stoplight. I need to pray more. I really do. Maybe I need to pray more for safety. For me and my family. Or maybe God is just telling me to trade the Nissan in and get a bigger family car like the 2007 Dodge Nitro. Hmmm...I'll have to pray about it.

I betcha didn't know...

THAT...
I don't own a ipod nano, shuffle, any other ipods out there...
I have to make sure there are no dishes in the sink before I go to bed...
If I'm too tired, too sick to put the dishes away, I'll put a towel over them...
I cannot sleep in past 7am...
When I first met John I knew in my heart he would be my husband...
I don't let my nails grow, I bite them I don't clip them...
I let my poodle give me a morning kiss before I let John...
I'm in to details...
I love to give...
I wish I'd give more...
I'm scared of my second delivery since I know what to expect...
Although John does the bills since I worried about them too much, I still do, everyday...
I need to step out in faith more...
I fall asleep at night when I'm praying...
That I feel so absolutely lucky to have a wonderful child...
I feel blessed that God has given John and I another child to love...
I'm sick of myspace...
I walk the aisles of Target on my days off sometimes just for fun...
I always deny to open up a target card (trouble)...
I love to have company over...
I use wite-out more often than I should to cover my mistakes...
I have to talk to someone on my cell phone on my way home from work...
I love to sing around the house, in the shower, in the car...
I wish I would have more confidence in myself to try out for the worship team...
I'm one clumsy brunette...
I thought it was unfair that God took my dad so soon...
I was being unfair to God about my dad...
I love those Costco hotdogs and cakes...
I think I can always look better...
I think my sister's makeup always looks perfect...
I'm a fan of Tyra Banks...
I like to bake food rather than cook food...
I sometimes wish I would have been a doctor...

So I thought I would tell you!

Bilateral Myringotomy Tympanostomy tube insertion...BMT...tubes

"Are they gonna stick out of his ears?"-J Rocka
Ewwwwww....this fell out of his left ear. The cotton ball that fell out of his right ear would have blended really well with the blanket, if you you what I mean.
So Tyler had tubes put in yesterday at the butt-crack of dawn. I mostly felt bad because he had no clue what was about to happen. He thought he just was going for a ride with nothing to eat. He was a sweetheart to all the nurses. He let them take his temp, his Oxygen level. So good. Until we handed him over to the nurse and they took him to "the room". The Anesthesiologist said he would be upset when he came out. Oh boy, was she right. He was upset and crying. I felt bad. But 3 hours later he was running around and playing with his toys. He had a lot of fluid behind his right ear all the time. It seems like every month he would get sick. In fact he just got a cold 2 days prior to his surgery. I'm happy that he will hear better now and it's all over. Just can't get water in the ears...

Happy Birthday Mom!

Tyler's cheesey birthday smile for grammy
Mom's cheesey birthday smile for the camera...heehee...
Ah, Tyler had to be close to Burgundy that night. If Justin kissed her cheek, Tyler had to. Ya see, he's in that "copying everything" stage. You cross your feet, he crosses his feet. It's quite cute.
But overall we had a nice night celebrating a wonderful person-MOM. We went to PF Changs for dinner and had pie from Marie Callender herself. I love getting together with my family. I love each of them and lucky to have each of them in my life. Including my mom. She does a lot for her kids and always thinks she falls short. She would and will do anything for her kids to make them happy and I love her for that.
M-makes sacrifices
O-obundance of courage
M-memories of joy
I love you mama!

Lights, Camera, Ultrasound!

Had one today, ultrasound that is. I'm 10 weeks exactly. My new due date is September 11th 2007. I know I know. I'm not really thrilled with the date, but I can't control it. Besides, I know baby #2 will be born sooner than that. It's only a "estimate" anyway. I'm having trouble post the ultrasound pic. Half of you wouldn't know what to look for anyway. I'm just happy I saw a fluttering heartbeat and a little baby in my uterus! It's real to me now. It's real.

Disneyland!

That little stinker is stealing a sip of my soda. Thought I wouldn't know, eh?
Say Cheese. My little cheese ball with Daddy. He absolutely loved going on rides the whole day.
I think this one might be his favorite!
Not quite sure about the Monsters Inc. ride.
OKay maybe this one is his favorite with Daddy. John was helping Tyler blast the evil Zurg in Buzz Light year ride.
We had such a wonderful day at disneyland. I was able to go on all the rides with tyler and John. We realized Tyler cannot wait in a line longer than 10 minutes. And that most kiddy rides are 1-1/2 minutes. Maybe.

Anyone else want to be sick?

Speak now or forever hold your wallet! So last week was Tyler, this week I guess it's my dog? My dog has had her fair shares of surgeries, ear infections and everything else. I know some people think dogs don't need to go to the vet all the time. They don't need shots. Surgeries for dogs? Ha. Pet Insurance, ha. Well you wouldn't catch me saying those things. Since we have had Kali, she has had 2 major surgeries. We came close to one last year, but so far, her back is doing fine. I wouldn't do the surgeries if I didn't have to. First one, went in to do deep cleaning of her ear canals (pluck the hair-poodles tend to grow them deep in their canal.) So I said what the heck, while she's under, give her a hysterectomy!! I get a call at work saying they have my dog on the table (at this point Im thinking, that's nice of them to call me while their in the middle...) The doctors proceeds to tell me something about her uterine horn...blah blah...missing kidney...hyperplasia...blah blah...urine filled sac about 10cm...blah blah...no right ovary...I say what? English...My dog (who is full breed bought by a AKC breeder) has no right kidney, no right ovary and the tissur that was suppose to be her kidney is filled with urine that at some point in time SOON will burst if it's not removed. So of course they proceeded. 2 nights later and a drugged up dog, there goes her first surgery. We bought her in late August, this surgery took place the week before thanksgiving that same year. Let's fast forward a year...knee problem. Another genetic problem. Luxating patella. I saw the xray, it was sad. It was worse when she would hop around the house whimpering when it would pop out. We did try medicine at first, but we had to take the surgical approach. Second one down. A year later...she whimpers again...this time her back. I guess, I mean I know...she is missing cushioning in between to of her vertabres. She already has some calcifications, but luckly no surgery and a cortisone shot took care of that one...So today she just has a double ear infection. Can be treated with her Otocleanse followed by her Otomax. And she has to take Clavamox by mouth 2 times a day. I love that dog...but I'm seriously thinking of getting pet insurance.

Love is a wonderful thing

John, Jaime and Jamie. All of us our either cousins, married, our names start with "J's", have the same name.
Here's to this fine couple. I was introduced to everyone as, "this is Jaie my daughter-in-law, she's expecting another one..."The whole day I was asked if I was feeling okay...
So John's cousin Jeff got married on the 27th. It was a lovely wedding with great homemade Italian food (made by the groom's mom). "Moozkit" rocked the house. Selah is the one in white. Jeff is the one in black. May they live happily ever after.
THE END.

Sickness kills your wallet

So last week Tyler was sick ALL week! It's started on a Friday with a cough and I thought to myself I better not let this go. So after 4 doctor visits, one Rocephin shot, 18 diarhea diapers, one perscription for diaper cream for a BAD diaper rash, 2 antibiotics, one breathing treatment, and one order of a nebulizer. I tell you from copays, to medications I'm broke. Those insurance companies are rich. But I'm glad finally Tyler is coming around and feeling better now.

The most wonderful place on earth...in So Cal...

I went to Disneyland on Friday with my siblings and their loves. My love was at work so I brought my other one. I actually had a pretty good day--considering I'm pregnant and suppose to be feeling sick. So far I'm good. John and I got year passes for Christmas from his parents. I'm stoked because Tyler is still free until 3. So we're all good in the hood! Just sucks that I won't be going on any rides besides the jungle cruise and small world. But I get much more enjoyment seeing Tyler have fun.
Tyler absolutely loved the merry-go-round. He cried when we got off of it...so did Jen.
Here we are on the jungle cruise. I jumped from the gun fire, not Tyler. It may look like I'm trying to choke my son, but he wouldn't look in the camera...the elephants were much more interesting I guess.
This is me and Cruella. She hated that I stole the shot. Poor Tyler wouldn't go up to her by himself...wonder why?
This is Tyler and I at Rainforest Cafe. It kinda looks like we're in the forest.
If you look at the front row, person 3 and 4, it's Rod and Justin. THEY went on the tower of terror. Jen, Burg, and Tyler and I sat by the sidelines. I had to because I'm with child. BUT even if I wasn't, there is no way in fire I would go on that. Plus it was a good time for me to change Tyler's diaper.
Jen and Rod...
Justin and Burg...

Cruel

Who does such a horrible thing? If you happen to look at the 2nd bottle of Suave Shampoo, you might notice it's upside and nothing in it. Exactly. I step in the shower today and see this--after I'm in the shower, hair wet, feeling the warmth of the nice shower, and I see this...oh I love my hubby. BUT, can't he least put another bottle of shampoo in the shower caddy? Huh? I'm not asking for a million dollars. Just shampoo. So I had to get out during my shower and wrap a towel around me and run to the closet to get some shampoo. It did feel nice to get back in. You all know that feeling. That feeling of, "I'm so cold...ahhh not anymore." Such a great feeling. Funny thing is that I actually was trying to squeeze whatever was left in that bottle and put it on my hair. It didn't work. My hair is long thick and needs lots of shampoo. Make sure you always replace what's gone in the shower men.

Shake and Bake!

So John had his first race of the year at Moran Raceway on Januray 6th. I kow I know I'm lagging on the time, but whatever I'm pregnant. So it was a nice fun filled day as always in Beaumont. The weather was chilly, but if you bundled up like me, you were A-okay! (Yes the beany was a must)

John had a brand new Arrow kart with a 125 shifter honda motor. Whew! It can reach top speeds of like 110mph. And if John ever reached that speed I would kill him! He gets pretty close though! Out of 31 in his class he started the 1st heat in 4th, ended it in 6th. John hasn't raced in a year, and had only had 1-1/2 days of practice on that kart. By the way, the kart was not even finished until the first of the year. So he really kicked butt and I'm proud of him. He did an awesome job!

I forgot how much I miss the races. The adreneline, the pitts, the porta-potties, the food kart, the exhaust fumes, the porta-potties...I love it all!

Oh my!

Wow! It's pretty exhausting being pregnant...while having a toddler running around. I mean Tyler woke up at 7am, and didn't go down until 2:15pm. HELP! So far (today) me puking up my intestines have been very mild. I have been a emotional basket case though. I basically broke down and cried when I called my OB to tell them I was pregnant and I had to change "the reason" for my appointment next wednesday. They said I had to rescedule to FEBRUARY 13th!! That's like 4 weeks away. A month. To me, eternity. It's after my mom's birthday. After John's cousins wedding. I don't know if I can make it. SO I ask if that's "okay" that I wait that long. (I know it's okay, but I want sooner) She says, "That's the soonest for a OB panel" Blah blah...I didn't ask you if it was the sonnest lady...I asked you if it was okay!! Whatever. I really really like my doctor. If I didn't, today would be the day I would change my OB. So I'm very emotional--so watch out!

Now I know why I was feeling sick!

Since Friday I have been feeling kinda of nauseated. Bingo! I'm gonna have a baby!! I didn't think I was, because last month I felt sick too and took a test (negative). But I sure pooled the wool over my eyes. Tyler's super stoked too. He can run around and be crazy with someone now. Well not NOW...but like in late August. But even then, the baby will be just a newborn. But you guys get the jist. John is so excited of all I think. He was already asking when we should work on the room. HA!

A lot of people don't know, but for me it's been a little of a struggle this 2nd time around. It wasn't so easy like the first time. So I quickly got bummed out. I felt like it was out of my hands and control, and of course the end of the world. It was all in God's timing. The timing is now and we are so excited that we are gonna have another baby soon. I can't wait. And of course I will be blogging about it!

Bummer, I was gonna join Weight Watchers tomorrow too...

I'm back...again...

Yeh, so I said I was gonna start blogging again but my "New" computer decided that the "new" hardrive decided to crash or whatever they do. What's so funny is when my husband went to go use it one night and noticed it wasn't working...you know what the first words out of his mouth were? "Jaime? what did you do?" Ha! So here I am typing with our old E machine that was in our closet. So slow and boring and I have no way to load up pictures. By the way I have a new camera! Yipee!! That's what I wanted for Christmas...one thing...nothing else...to ditch the old 1" screen sony cyber shot...for a new masterpiece. It finally went kapootz when Tyler was doing something really cute and it didn't want to work. Then John realized I was right and the camera sucked! But little did I know (or did I?) he got me a camera for Christmas. But also that same day his work gave some employees all Canon ELPH 630 power shots. YES!! All mine...so John returned the one he got me at best buy and then I got even more presents!!! But all I really cared about was that camera. I stayed up one night reading the book so I would know how to do stuff on Christmas. Then poor tyler has been sick since the day after Christmas. To be totally REAL with you all that DO read my blog...I hadn't watched TV for a couple of days. And if I did it was tivo'd...and if it was tivo'd I watched it like 1-2 days later. So I had no clue that James Brown died, President Gerald Ford died, Hussein was gonna be hung, Hussein was hung. I felt so out of the world and stupid when I heard the new current events. I watched a tivo'd oprah one day and the commercial said they were gonna hang hussein tomorrow...(I know, why am I watching a commercial when it's tivo'd-don't ask!) then at 6pm that day he's already dead. I was tripping...tivo plays with your mind! So today Tyler sees the doc, and he has ear infections in both ears, tonsillitis, and bronchitis. Poor kiddo. I hate it when he is sick. I feel like if I take him to the docs all the time for a runny nose they say it's just a cold. But when I really think it's nothing, it's SOMETHING!! And this was a long weekend because of new years. I wasn't about to take him to urgent care. I have heard horror stories and didn't want to become one. So I m off to bed, well to read for awhile and then to bed. Good night and see you in the morning...ah well you know what I mean...

Blast from my past

Yeah, so this is a old old picture. I was going through my old old pictures on our old old computer and came upon my "i'm pregnant" file. I have baby on the brain. It's a serious condition, I know. Thought I would post a little pic. I also wrote in a journal almost daily during my pregnancy. I came across some days I wanted to share...
August 28, 2004 Saturday ( 6 wks 1 day)
Sick, not fun. Throwing up bile in the morning. Nothing beats that. Tasty!
August 29, 2004 Sunday (6 wks 2 days)
Sick, not fun...repeat Saturday. I thought I would feel up to going to John's race today. But our little baby had other plans. I stayed home by myself. No one was near me. I was all alone. Maybe I could have used that depression phamplet I was given. Just kidding.
August 30, 2004 Monday (6 wks 3 days)
I'm beginning to think these are my worst couple of days. I'm not going to work today because I'm doing the "morning sickness princess" thing I do so well. Tomorrow is my first OB appointment (for reals this time) and I'm hoping I can make it.

April 3, 2005 (37 weeks 2 days)
Okay I'mm feeling pre labor contractions. There not bad at all, but I have been having them all day today. Tyler is coming early I know it. I'm getting my bag packed tonight! John might think I'm crazy for saying that, but I know my body......Could I be in Early labor? Or could it be another week or two before D day? I'm calling Dr. Bryan's office tomorrow, or should I call L&D tomorrow? I don't want to go in than get sent home. I'm not saying I'm gonna deliver tonight, but if these contraction feelings keep coming like they are (here's one right now) and if they get more intense in the middle of the night, I wonder. I realy want him to come out when he's due so I don't have to go back to work so soon. Because my disabilty post partum starts the day Tyler is born. But then I do want him here now. John wants him here now too. Well....we'll see!
April 4, 2005 (37 weeks 3 days)10:00AM
(Heading to the hospital because Jaime is having frequent contractions and they are lasting about 1 min to 1 min and 30 seconds). I am really excitied that today might be the day I finally get to see my boy! -john
April 4th, 2005 11:00PM
Well, today was the day indeed. Jaime did wonderful throughout her labor. I will let her explain more when she gets home. Yes, she is at the hospital right now and I just arrived back home. We decided it would be best for us both to get a good night sleep. I feel bad leaving her there all alone but I know she is in good hands with the nurses who are watching her. Tyler was born around 6:15pm and he is beautiful! The most pride I have ever felt in my life came when I first saw him. I cant even try to explain how happy I feel. He is healthy and cute, weighing in at a whopping 7.3 pounds and 19" long. Blue eyes and brownish reddish hair, which later will turn more straweberry blonde, like mine. Anyway, jaime will have more to write when she gets home. I am starting to tear-up just writing this, so I think I will stop now. God is continuing to bless me with his wonderful miracles.
G-night, love you Tyler!

So there I have it...you may wonder what has brought all this up...I look at Tyler and wonder "where the time has gone" Seriously though...I saw a pair of "2T" size PJ's and think those are huge they will be so big on my boy. Nope, they fit perfectly. It's sad. I look in pictures and he is so big. Where is my boo-boo bear at? I want another one.

Christmas in the city...ring a ding...

I'm back...I have been busy, tired, lazy, I hate my camera, working, mom-ing, wife-ing, not cooking, some cleaning...but I haven't been blogging and that's for sure. I'm still frusturated with the link love on my behalf. I don't know how to display it. But thank God Burgundy has a blog like mine and J rocka can come to my rescue when he gets time from his hectic life to help a sista out.

Anyhoo, we all went to my mom's Christmas party at Teen Challenge on monday night and here are some pictures. She was all into it, because all of us were there. She was beaming with pride and joy. Like she should be, we all dressed up (except for John) and I think we all clean up pretty well don't ya think?? "Say cheese!"
