5 years later, 2 kids and a dog...here we are!

John and I have been married for 5 years on April 5th (5 days after Jen and Rods anniversary and 2 days before Justin and Burgundy's anniversary). I know for some of you couples out there that's nothing, but we hope to get to the 50th year anniversary someday. We all joke and say we should plan a anniversary cruise one year, but I actually think it would be fun! So here is John and I today...

Here we are 5 years ago on our wedding day with all the special people in our life...

We have a 3 year old!

Tyler turned 3 on Friday April 4th. A day before our 5 year anniversary. I remember the day of our 2 year anniversary...I sat in the hospital post-partum room with my hospital bagel, frosted flakes, applesauce and orange juice (Hey, I didn't eat the WHOLE enitre day before...food and labor don't work). Here Tyler is 2 weeks old...

Here is our little firecracker now! It's not the best picture, but he never stay still ong enough to take one where he is actually smiling.

John and I both agree that it's crazy that we have a 3 year old. What's even crazier is we have another one that is only 7 months old. This past year, I'm not gonna lie to ya-has been "terrible" and "trying". We both hope it gets better, you know like wine...gets better with age. Let's hope Tyler is like wine persay! Besides that, he is the most fun we have had around our house. He makes us mad, and happy and proud that God blessed us with such a smart and wonderful son .

We love you Tyler,

Daddy and Momma

Say my name, say my name...

HowManyOfMe.com
LogoThere are
2
people with my name
in the U.S.A.

How many have your name?

So I guess Jaime Cram is very original...or most english speaking females don't spell my name like "Hi-me" (Jaime) they spell it the normal way, J-a-m-i-e. Thanks parents! And mom, my name doesn't mean I love you in french. I took 2 years of it and never came acorss it. J'aime is the verb for 'I love' though. Close but no cigar!

"Thank you Jesus..."

So the other night we were just about to eat dinner when we asked Tyler to say the blessing...

"Dear Jejus, tank you for my food. May it be a beting to my body. Watch over my mommy and my daddy and i see you in da morning. Amen."

What? I thought we were eating dinner, not going to bed. Poor kid was probably so hungry he was delirious and said the wrong prayer!

Never a dull moment with a toddler!

"I see you..."

I was looking through pictures on my camera tonight and came across these photos that made me laugh. But not the focused object in the picture. I never noticed my dog trying to get in on the shot! Check Kali out at the top center of the picture...

Now this was taken on Christmas Eve last year. My little grandma is so happy when she gets to hold her grandchildren. I mean great-grandkids...can you imagine Justin or Jennifer sitting on her Arthritic bones? Yeh, either can I. Anyway, she was holding Gavin with big smiles...but I noticed that Justin and Burg are cheesing it up in the background.
"I love you my little muffin head..."
"I love you too my handsome stud-rocka!"

Hahaha...okay it's late I have to go to bed...

thanks burg...

can't wait to do it again...

What the?

You know everyone has one of these strangely odd growing misc. hairs somewhere on their body. Mine just happened to show up on my right temple area. I actually thought it was a hair that was just lingering around. NOPE! It wasn't attached to my head, like I thought. It was attached to my face. Yummy!

The baba fairy is a the door!

Yes, we told tyler the "baba fairy" was gonna come and take his baba's away since he is a big boy. He helped us put them into a bag and was excited....
Then he woke up from his nap and suddenly there was a knock at our door...(it was John). The baba fairy came! (it was John). There was glitter and a toy placed upon the empty bag where his baba's once were. He was amazed and believed the whole thing, hook line and sinker!

This parent thing is pretty fun...

Thinking...

Yes I am.
I'm thinking why I can't fall asleep until like 1 am almost every night.
I'm thinking why my first born tyler slept through the night at 8 weeks, and Gavin is still waking up at 4am.
I'm thinking if tyler will wake up in the middle of the night and come to my bed and say,"Mama? Monsters."
I'm thinking about my dad.
I'm thinking about my mom.
I'm thinking I think I'm over my PP depression.
I'm thinking that the people who won the mega million in Georgia are truely lucky. They picked their kids or grandkids birthdays for the numbers. I and 11 other people had the machine pick them.
I'm thinking of a creative way to take tyler's "ba-ba's" away from him tomorrow.
I'm thinking of switching to organic food for my kids.
I'm thinking about this one patient of ours that is truely gonna die because of insurance stupidity.
I think I think too much.

Why God Made Little Boys...

God made a world out of His dreams, of magic mountains, oceans and streams; praires and plains and wooded land. He then paused and thought, "I need someone to stand on top of the mountains, to conquer the sea; to explore the plains and climb the trees, someone to start out small and grow sturdy, and strong like a tree" and so...He created boys, full of his spirit and fun to conquer, to romp and run with dirty faces, banged up chins, with courageous hearts and boyish grins. When He had completed the task He'd begun, He surely siad, "That's a job well done."

My "Hallmark holiday"...

So yesterday was Valentines Day. We didn't do anything, in fact we will be going out to dinner on Saturday. We don't like crowds or waiting for 4 hours for a dinner. It was either that or having 10pm reservation. So no big deal to have our little day on saturday night. We will probably end up going to Northwoods Inn or try Las Campanas in Rancho.
So John and I exchanged cards and I gave him candy and he gave me flowers. He sent them to work. I love to get flowers at work. What girl doesn't want to feel special in front of others. To bad I didn't go to work that day! I actually had my ulltrasound in the morning and came home to be with tyler since he was sick. So, I had to go into work to pick them up! Poor John. Thanks for the flowers sweetheart!!

Here's tyler on his first valentines day (10 months)...notice the bib...

Here's Gavin on his first valentines day (5 months)...see the bib?

Here is tyler all grown up and stuff...minus the "baba"...hey, we're working on that...along with the potty. Can't we just ship our kids off for potty training camp?

"Have fun honey, make sure you use the potty...remember to flush"

"See you at the end of summer!"

Guess not, huh?

Love him to reeses pieces.

In a Nutshell...

So to speak this has been my life for the past couple of months. It's been busy and I haven't gotten a chance to blog about some things. So here it is in a nutshell!

Here I am with Gavin on Christmas Eve in the ER. He wasn't feeling great, sounding great (horrible cough) and was getting worse through the day. I was afraid he was developing bronchitis...he did by the way...
Here is tyler opening his "big" present. Yes we got him drums. He loves them, especially when anyone else plays them so he can run and dance in circles in his room. Yes there in his room. What? You think I was gonna put them downstairs?

This is John's truck. Obviously the person who did this was on Santa's naughty list. This is what john walked out to after we had a nice time being together as a family and enjoying the kids open up their gifts. Way to kill the mood, eh?

"mama? i wanna hoed da bebe..."
"Okay Tyler, sit down."
"I love my bebe buther"
"Ahhh..."

gavin is such a happy baby. We are so blessed!

Here Tyler is turning into the incredible hulk...j/k. He got a hold of a green candy cane and went to town on it. Need I say more?

Tyler got his first helmet and knee and ankle pads. "mama? I want a skeetsbord?" He loves to watch FUEL TV with dad.

Superman is in the holiday spirit.

Before...
After...

Home Depot price, $2700...Our price, $600...priceless.

Gavin's first taste of rice cereal...didn't like it, wasn't sure what the heck mama was putting in my mouth. Will try again later...

That was the last few months in a nutshell....

STATS

tyler...34 months

gavin...5 months

jaime...329 months

john...365 months

kali...58 months (people yrs)
