Thanksgiving Day...

So on turkey Day we spent it with my in-laws this year. I made my pumpkin soup as usual and helped with the ordinary green bean casserole that you can find on any can of those fried onions. It was nice and relaxing. Tyler and Gavin's Great gma and gpa Cram got to spend it with us. We ate around 1pm so at 6pm we had another round of turkey. It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is already over and Christmas is just about here. I kinda dread the whole decoration thing right now. I think I will just get a tree and that's about it. I am even considering buying a small 4 footer and putting it on a table. Just not in the mood I guess.

Anyway, here are some pictures...

Being real.

This post doesn't need a picture. This post is somewhat different from last posts. I'm depressed. I'm suffering from depression. I actually am wide awake at 12:30am wondering why I am blogging about this, but I feel like I need to talk. John is sleeping right now and he can't listen. Everyone is sleeping right now so I can't call. To be depressed is to feel sunken. I actually found a word to help me describe it. To feel sunken is to feel like you are below everything, trying to stay above it all. Not all my days are like this. Actually most of them are of the norm. But when this depression is triggered by whatever-it sucks. I thought I was doing better the last week. I actually have had something to look forward to every weekend. 2 weeks ago was a birthday party for tyler to go to, this past saturday was thomas the train event, and now there is thanksgiving coming up and then disneyland on sunday. People may look at me and think I should be the most happiest person living. I should be exstatic, I have a newborn, I have a great 2 year old and a wonderful husband that love me. But, I am happy. I am also overwhelmed with emotions, feelings of worthlessness, angry, sad, guilty that I am depressed. So sunken is how I feel. Below. Deflated. So I will try to go to bed...again. I'm hopeful for tomorrow to be a better day. I also hope I don't regret posting this. If you know me, I just ask for you to pray for me. Pray that this cloud will be lifted off me. I want to enjoy my new life that has been given to me 2 months ago. I want to enjoy my family. I need it.

Halloween firsts...

So yesterday we went out to The Grove to go "trunk or treating". It was Tyler's first Halloween actually dressing up and going out. Technically it was his 3rd...but this is the one that counted. He was batman this year, or as Tyler says it, "Supaman". He's a little confused but oh well. He points to the batman outfit in target and says, "supaman" and I correct him and say, "no that's batman, this is superman (point to the outfit)?" He right away tells me no. So whatever. He likes the way batman looks, but likes the sound of superman...oh I mean "supaman". Anyway here are a few pictures...hahaha I said a few!

Gavin was a cow dressed up as a pumpkin! He didn't like it much...

Here's "batman" eating a hotdog with ketchup and mustard...
Here's "batman" eating potato chips...
Here's our little pumpkin sleeping thru it all...
Here I am showing and telling Tyler how to ask for candy...

Of course he picked it up real good and fast. He never even said trick or treat, he would just lift his basket up! Even sometimes he would just walk by if someone was in his way or not fast enough...patience son...who am I kidding, he's 2.
Sometimes he would just stare at the peoples decorations and the costumes.
This is tyler doing it by himself. Looks like he is getting assurance from us like if he's doing it okay or right. You did right tyler, you made out big. Now daddy and I have to "inspect" your candy and "throw" out any bad candy...

Okay here I go with the blogging...

Look how our little man is growing strong. He's already 6 weeks old. He's almost a teenager....

We celebrated my father-in-laws birthday at Bj's. Home of the Pzookie! Mmmmm....

We went to disneyland a few weeks ago and as we were walking on over from California adventure to Disneyland and we were met with all sorts of characters. I was happy thinking Tyler would be stoked. I was wrong, he was scared of just about everyone but Max (goofy's kid). I'm thinking because he looks liie the rest of mickey's friends.

Who in the heck is this big scary black character...anyone? Is it Jungle book?

Safe!

He was even afraid of Winnie...what?

He clenched John's from this weird guy from Lilo and stitch.

One day Tyler and I were coloring and he picked up the white crayon and said, "mama, mama, mama (always says my name 3 times), crawn not working". I knew what he was saying. He was coloring with a white crayon ON white paper. No color, not working. I hear ya son. Who uses those white crayons anyway.

Tyler keeps me on my toes. What a toddler can do while you are not feeling well...goes outside, gets the hose and sprays everything down out back...then shows me while he runs on our white freshly clean floor. but does a good job cleaning himself...
and the floor...
then I give him cheetos!
We are also in the process of potty training...hows it looking boys? It's not Sports Illustrated it's a disneyland magazine, but it's "reading" material.

WOW! Alot of stuff has happened in a week...

Well first off I will snswer the tag that my brother Justin gave me. I'm suppose to list 8 "interesting" things about myself that you don't know. So here it goes...

1. I don't own a ipod, mp3 player or infact any player that lets you download songs for free, for money, or illegal for that matter.

2. I hate driving on overpasses. In fact the new ones that are being bulit off the 60, 91, and 215 freeways almost make me pee my pants. I mean those suckers are man made from the ground up. Do me a favor and check one out next time...how on earth does it work like that?

3. I like to read the "direction label" on just about everything even if I know how to take it. I'm just interesting like that.

4. Back in the 7th grade I was on a basketball team, and during the game I went the "wrong way" and actually attempted to make a shot for the other team. Good thing I missed, right? But I got the name "wrong way" from that...especially from Justin.

5. I can watch the discovery health channel, or any channel that shows blood and guts and surgeries while I'm eating.

6. I have to make my bed before I leave to go to work, or the house. And if so happens I don't (or John takes a nap mid day) I have to make my bed before I go to sleep. It's just something about pulling back those covers before resting my head.

7. Speaking of resting my head, I can fall asleep within seconds of..."Dear Jesus thank you for my day...ZZZZZZZZ"

8. I absolutely love my kids and my husband without a doubt, and if I had to lay down and die for them.

So, you are suppose to like choose 2 people to tag, but everyone I know has already been tagged. So oops!

JOHN TURNED 30!!

Saturday we started the celebration off by going to Northwoods Inn (where esle?). The quote of the day was, "Can people actually stay here?" That right there my freinds came form Justin. He had a good point. Things that end in "Inn" usually are places where people can lay their heads. Anyway, we had a good time eating steak, chicken, yummy bread and throwing peanuts on the floor!

Then on Sunday (the real birthday), I made homemade cheese enchiladas and got John a ice cream cake. Very low key just for John, because that's how he likes it. No fuss! He had a race too that day and he came in first place. How awesome is that! What a great way to end the racing year and to turn 30!! Congratulations babe! You are wonderful!!

DAVE MATTHEWS BAND!!

Which kinda links to Johns birthday. John's parents got him 2 tickets to see DMB on Monday. It was wonderful. Loved, loved, loved it! We had alright seats, I mean there really is no bad seat anywhere at the hollywood bowl, and at a dave matthews concert. John had a good time, I had a good time. Great times! We also sat in front of what we think was Dave's biggest fan and San Diego Padres's biggest fan. The whole time we heard (in a whiney voice)..."Babe, I hope they turn the cameras on..." "Babe...this venue is amazing" "Babe, this our song..." "I LOVE YOU DAVE..." "WHOOOOOO" "OH my gosh, they turned the cameras on!" Then Romeo kept on texting his friend back and forth about the padres game. I mean all I heard was Dave playing in the background and "the score is tied now" What?

(Sorry if the camera moves alot...I had to hide it in my purse so the security people wouldn't take my canon)

MY 3 WEEK OLD AND MY 2-1/2 YEAR OLD

I can't believe Gavin is 3 weeks old now. Tyler is doing so good. He is actually wanting to be close to him now. I swear I didn't make him take these shots. He did it on his own!

Lastly...

BEE UPDATE #3

KB homes called us and said they will pay for the removal off the bees. So we are getting reimbursed! Yay! So glad. Because I would have fought if I had to! I will put away the boxing gloves for now!

Good night! Zzzzzzz...

Scub a dub dub in the sink

Today was one of Gavin's "first" first. We broke out the baby book and put it in. He was such a good baby. Didn't even cry once, which makes it easier. The whole family got involved in this milestone event. There is even a video!! WHoo hoo!

Had to sensor this one with a black sensor strip.

Tyler wanted to help clean Gavin. Not drown him, although he looks like he's up to something.

Pop the popcorn!

New and old

My family came out to see Gavin for the first time on Sunday. My little Grandma was crying because she knows she is old and wants to be around for her great grandchildren. I know she is happy that she got to see Gavin. Here is a neat picture of what new life and a "mature" life resembles...

And here is just a little cuteness...I don't know what is up with Kali. She absolutely loved Tyler when he was a baby, but then when he started moving and making more noises...forget it! Now it's the same with Gavin...it will be over soon enough.

The spiderman kiss: reinvented by Tyler

thinking about it...
sizing it up...
go in for the kill...
the after look...
Now the live action video...note that I ask him not to suffocate Gavin...Tyler just really wanted to plant one on him!

My husband the magician

My day

So this was my day...

Tyler loves his tunnel and had fun playing with daddy in it. But by the end of the day he was pooped. He climbed in our bed by himself and got under the covers and conked out. That little fart always wants to sleep in "mama daddys bed". But we try to be strong since he already has issues with his big boy bed...

Tyler is "adjusting" well I guess. I can tell he is like unsure if this little Gavin is going to stay or what. But he hasn't hit him yet, so I guess we're on a good road. When he wants me and only my attention he says, "baby sleep"...as in, "put the baby to bed and love on me". One of the reasons I cry every day (besides the baby blues) is I fear that Tyler will feel less loved by me or John. I go so out of my way to make him not feel that way. Man I love that little guy so much as I now do with Gavin. Tyler has been Daddy's little boy the last week. He doesn't really go to me much or I'm usually his second choice. (sniff sniff) Oh well, in time.
Sleep. I need it so bad...
